Cruise Innovations PLUS LLC

Cruise Innovations Plus is co-owned by Ken Reid and Carol Ammirato.  They have been in business since 1996.

Ken Reid grew up in Astoria, N.Y. He graduated from Mater Christi H.S., Astoria, N.Y., and Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He also attended Fordham University School of Social Work in Manhattan for two years. Ken served six years in New York State National Guard and worked twenty one years as a social worker for NY State before retiring. He has always enjoyed helping people and now finds great satisfaction in helping his customers fulfill their vacation dreams.   

Carol Ammirato was raised in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, N.Y. She graduated from Erasmus Hall H.S. in Brooklyn, N.Y. and from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. Carol has owned and operated a successful family resturant in a resort village in the Catskill Mountains in New York State and has worked as an office manager in a New York State social organization for 30 years before retiring. Carol also enjoys helping others fulfill their dreams and she has great organizational and management skills.

Ken and Carol are happily engaged and enjoy working their business and traveling the world together.  They have been on over eighty cruises and visited ninety seven countries on all seven continents.  They are accredited cruise counselors with Cruise Lines International Association, honeymoon and destination wedding specialists with Sandals/Beaches, and members of Travel Leaders Network which allows them to get the best value for their clients.  For the past eight years they have also escorted groups for Travel Leaders Network as part of the Distinctive Voyage program.
